About Lance |
|||
Lance Gregson comes from a creative family of musicians, teachers and nationally known artisans. He lives
in a rural setting in the beautiful Adirondack State Park where for the past four years he has concentrated on
designing and building one of a kind rustic fireplaces with circular fire boxes and bold lines.He is husband to a K-12th grade award winning, good-looking and beloved Art teacher. His hobbies include walking in the woods with his wife and dog, cross country skiing in the winter, and his greatest passion - cycling. Lance has put in many hours - even in the winter - on the bicycle, training for races. Has earned both Personal Coach and Business Coach degrees from Coach U and organized a Coach U Chapter in Albany that meets monthly. Lance discovered a passion for coaching and sees many similarities between designing and constructing a fireplace and designing and constructing life happiness. Many years ago I realized what gave me the greatest joy in building homes and fireplaces is the satisfaction the homeowners had in the environment we created for them to spend time in. I aided them in finding their definition of beauty - externally. This evolved into a desire to take this peace and contentment with them without slapping their house on their back to gain it – in other words, how can people internalize this happiness. How can they return to the beauty of life – internally? That is what led me to coaching. Lance has also picked up some "life gems" along the way: While building fireplaces I’ve learned many lessons that apply to living life as an ongoing work of art: PLEASE NOTE : Lance passed away in November of 2007. Inquires can be directed to his wife, Anne. Please email her at anne@stonefireplace.net |
